02Awareness · Corporate campaign

Dress without animals Cruelty-free fashion.

We ask the fashion industry to stop using animals. Synthetic alternatives of equal or better quality already keep us warm without feathers, leather or fur.

What it is

A jacket doesn't need feathers.

The down in many jackets comes from geese and ducks raised by the industry. Dress without animals asks brands to replace feathers, leather and fur with materials that don't require using anyone.

Our first petition targets Lippi, a Chilean outdoor clothing brand: remove animal feathers from its jackets. We do it through public campaigns and direct dialogue with the company.

Why we do it

Innovation has already solved warmth.

Brands choose their materials. When a well-known company changes, it pulls suppliers and competitors along and shows customers that quality and ethics can go together. One corporate decision protects far more animals than one individual purchase.

How it works

This is how we do it.

  1. 01

    Choose a target

A brand with weight in its market and viable alternatives.

  2. 02

    Ask publicly

A clear petition, with a concrete and measurable change.

  3. 03

    Talk

Direct dialogue with the company to ease the transition.

  4. 04

    Acknowledge

    Publicly celebrate every commitment kept.

Its value

The change we seek, and who it serves.

i.

For the animals

Fewer geese, ducks and other animals raised to dress us.

ii.

For people

Information to choose cruelty-free clothes without losing warmth.

iii.

For the movement

A precedent other brands in the region can follow.

Journey

What's done and what's next.

  1. Petition

A public request to Lippi to remove animal feathers from its jackets.

  2. Campaign

Pieces such as “Leave the feathers to the geese”.

In the cycle

One piece of something bigger.

Each project holds a place in our model of change and leans on the others.
